Graduation announcements

It's that time of year that alot of college students are commencing on college graduating and moving forward in their adulthood.

I had the opportunity to design this announcement for Kaela. She's graduating in a few weeks and her mother, Tracy, wanted to send this out to close friends and family before then.

Originally, Tracy wanted just 20 copies but after seeing the final draft, she bumped her order up to 50! Awesome!!!

The great thing about our communication process is that it was all completely online. This is a crazy time of year for everyone and the less physical meetings to attend, the more efficient and productive. This announcement was ordered, designed, proofed, revised, authorized, printed and delivered -- all within only one weekend!





Wow! Bosnia... then Canada?!!! Kaela is definitely living her life to the fullest.

Birthday - Thank You

Babies everywhere!!! Soon, they one won't be and they'll all be grown up. We celebrated Jasmine's first birthday last weekend. Kids grow up so fast. Read more about it by clicking HERE.

Baptism - Thank you

Andrew had his baptism a few weekends ago and we were all there to witness it. (You can read about it on the A. Sencil Imaging blog by clicking HERE).

He is such a cutie. His theme was brown and blue (great combination, btw). Here is his thank you card:





Andrew's mom has already passed these out to coworkers and friends and they think it's adorable!!! It was such a great design that it has already led to one design referal. Stay tuned...

I tried some new designing styles and elements on this one. The more and more I design, the more inspiration I get to add dynamics to my projects :) I love designing!

Wedding - Announcements

ARIEL of A. Sencil Imaging (http://www.asencilimaging.com) photographed a small, intimate wedding in March and I had the opportunity to tag along and shoot with him. It was 10-15 person attendance in the couple's home, but had the emotions of a large 200-person filled church. "We've Moved" announcements

I do moving announcements as well :)

Here's an announce from a family in California (I'm in Washington). They sent me the photo of their new home and wanted to let everyone know they moved and to update their records with the new information. I enhanced the photo a bit and aded some text. It came out to this cool announcement.

Birthday Invitation

Here's a las-minute invitation I threw together for a family friend in March. She sent me the photos she wanted to use, her favorite colors and her theme. This is what I came up with:





She loved the rough draft and wanted it printed as is. This was all produced, printed and delivered in ONE DAY! That MUST be a record!!!

Sisterly Love

Here's a card I designed for a friend of mine in January. It was for her sister's birthday.




I followed up with her shortly after and she said she loved it and it brought tears to their eyes. She provided the image and the poem and I created the final design.

It's been awhile...

As we all know, the holiday season is upon us. And what better way is there to show some holiday lovin' to your family and friends...

Below are some tips in taking pictures:

***Photo Tips

* Use Bright Natural Light such as that by a window or patio or glass door. Natural light is beautiful most anytime of day. Try to avoid the harsh noon light.

*Change the settings to the highest quality AND size available. The higher the quality, the better.

*If your camera puts a date stamp on the picture, please turn it off.

*Please avoid using regular indoor lighting without a flash. This will result in photos with an overly yellowish hue. Also, if there still isn't enough light the photos will be blurry.

*Just be trigger happy! Take lots of shots. The more you take the better chance you have at getting "THE" shot.

* JUST HAVE FUN!
